Nate Wyatt
Director
As a Director at The Wayfinder Group's Washington, D.C. office, Nate Wyatt works with his clients to navigate federal bureaucracies and secure funding for critical projects in Hawaiʻi. Nate has experience working on a wide range of priorities, including appropriations, energy, climate change, nutrition, workforce, telecommunications, education, Indigenous peoples, and state and local governments.
In Hawaiʻi, Nate works closely with the University of Hawaiʻi, the food banks, the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, and the City and County of Honolulu to secure funding for projects across the state. During his time in the Senate, Nate worked for Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) and helped to advance the Senator's energy, environment, public lands, federal employee, and Indian affairs agenda. As an appropriator, Nate's experience in Senator Tester's office gave him first-hand education on how to navigate bureaucracies and accounts eligible in the appropriations process.
Nate also wrote forward-facing messaging for Senator Tester during the first Trump administration during a hotly contested 2018 election cycle, in which Senator Tester was one of the only frontline Senators.
